This is not about a hotel in the capital of France. Paris Hilton is an American socialite, an actress and entertainer. A great-granddaughter of the founder of the Hilton Hotel chain, she was raised as a Roman Catholic in Beverly Hills California and New York City.

Famous for being famous, in September 2006 she was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and the arrest complicated the shooting of the fifth season of her series "The Simple Life."
In 2007, another brush with the law happened when she was caught driving 70 mph in a 35 mile-per-hour zone with a suspended license. She got 45 days in jail for violating her probation.
